Bat colony halts demolition

Tesco's plans to knock down the former College of Textiles in Galashiels, Selkirkshire UK have been put on hold due to the discovery of a bat colony in the attic which means the demolition, which was due to start in July when Department of Work and Pensions staff move out of the building, will have to be put back.
