Mystery object
Rich Ellis blogger for Architectural Salvage & Antique Lumber is appealing to anyone who might shed some light on the object above. He has been told it is a ceramic coal heater but is clueless as to if it is American or European and which period it is from.

The item is almost certainly Dutch, although there is a possibility that it could be from Belgium or Germany. It is late 19th Century/early 20th Century. They come in a variety of different forms from domestic ovens through to commercial kitchen ranges and chip fryers. Better images showing the detail may help to be more accurate.
